About Me
My name is Jacob Best, a Graphic Designer based in Illinois, and I am committed to crafting visuals that are intentional and authentic. My work is driven by a deep personal commitment to values— honesty, authenticity, and lasting impact. I believe design is more than just visual aesthetics and that they should create a lasting meaning.
I approach every project with a strong attention to detail and committed to continuously growing and learning. My goal isn't just to complete a task; it's to deliver solutions that go above and beyond what is being asked of me.
I am skilled in applying core industry tools to project deliverables. My strongest proficiencies are in the Adobe Creative Suite, particularly in Illustrator for vector identity and graphic design, Photoshop for image manipulation, retouching, and mockups, InDesign for complex layout designs. I also utilize Figma for website and prototyping as well as collaboration work with other designers. I also have a basic skillset in Premiere Pro and After Effects to handle dynamic video content and motion graphics. My training ensures that I approach every task and project with discipline and focus required for professional quality work.
